Roz Macdonald's trio is based in Berlin and is made up of Béla Meinberg on Piano and Jordan Dinsdale on Drums. The musical style of the trio is in its core straight ahead jazz, with some twists and turns. The band formed in the middle of the corona pandemic in 2020, and with some help from Musikfonds/NeuStart Kultur, they released their debut album ‘Make Do’ in 2022. Since then the trio have been playing regular concerts together in Germany and elsewhere in Europe. Recently Roz has been composing lots of new music in preparation to record the second album. This music can only be exclusively heard live at the moment.
